Procrastination is the action of delaying or postponing something. In school procrastination is putting off assignments till the last minute, and struggling to turn it in on time, usually out of laziness. There are always ways to avoid success in life but here are some sure-fire ways to achieve it while attending high school.

1.Use a planner or a piece of paper and plan your day and write deadlines for when you must achieve each goal you set for yourself.

2. If you start to procrastinate think about all the things that are getting done as you avoid the procrastinated task.

3. Think about the long-term risks such as not getting into college because you procrastinated on studying for the ACT.

4. When you get home from school do your homework right away!

5. Put your phone away!!!
